Pyrolysis Album Art: the raw beauty of decomposition

Earlier this year, Bizi Creative was hired to create album art for Pyrolysis, a talented guitar and piano duo out of Spokane, WA. Kevin Von Steuben plays guitar on the album, and the piano is composed and played by Troy Rickards.

When we set out to design artwork for the cover, we were, of course, inspired by the word pyrolysis, a chemistry term referring to the decomposition brought about by high temperatures.

According to Troy, Pyrolysis is about surviving the stressors that could easily destroy anyone, remembering to enjoy the hard journey, finding hope in odd places, and dealing with anger.

Check out the Pyrolysis album art below (and a few other compositions we made for singles on the album) ...

When you're ready to give these tunes a proper listen, we recommend you light a candle (safely), turn down the lights, and let the smoldering intensity cleanse your burdened soul to make room for new growth and new life.

Thanks for the opportunity, Kevin and Troy! We look forward to your next musical collaboration. 🤘
