Creating a logo for brother and sister duo Chrissie and Callum Brock has been delightful. In a different lifetime, Chrissie and I worked together at Papa Haydn, a high-volume restaurant & bakery in Northwest Portland. Chrissie was always a pleasure to work with; she's a great hype woman, equal parts badass and sweet as pie.
We were stoked when Chrissie & Callum approached Bizi Creative to help launch their new food cart, Strawberry Badger. The name alone made us smile through our ever-curious laughter.
So, what is a Strawberry Badger, you ask? Well, the short answer is it's Callum. The Brock siblings are Scottish, their names are Gaelic, and Callum Brock loosely translates to "Strawberry Badger."
Chrissie and Callum are not only siblings; they're also best friends, confidants, and each other's biggest fans. If that isn't sweet enough, we dare you to visit them at the Gorge Hotel in Hood River to try one of their best-selling seasonal mini pies made with 100% local butter pie crust.
